NOFA APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please select the correct application form for your
project and complete all of the questions and requests
for information. This will guide you in providing
us with the information needed to determine the eligibility
and viability of your project. Please refer to
the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for information
on priorities for funding and eligible activities.
The application forms are as follows:
APPLICATIONS IN THIS CATEGORY
MAY BE SUBMITTED AT ANY TIME. |
Developers
with innovative in-fill and redevelopment proposals
for homeownership properties; builders and developers
to construct and rehabilitate multifamily rental
properties in the urban county and City of Largo. |
Housing
Services
NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FROM AGENCIES THAT SUPPLY THESE SERVICES |
Services
such as homebuyer, landlord tenant, and fair housing
counseling; family budgeting classes, referral
services, and rental housing placement programs. |
Public
Facility
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
IN SPECIAL DISTRICTS* OR WHICH SERVE LOW/MOD
OR SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATION (INCLUDING THE HOMELESS). |
Acquisition,
rehabilitation, construction, etc. of facilities
serving low- and moderate-income persons/families
or special needs groups. |
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
IN SPECIAL DISTRICTS.* |
Capital
projects such as streetscaping, road improvements,
sidewalks, etc. in areas designated as CRAs and
other slum/blight areas, or low- and moderate-income
areas. |
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FROM AGENCIES THAT PERFORM THESE SERVICES. |
Activities
such as household cleaning for the elderly, recreation
support programs in target areas, operational cost
of services in target areas, and for homeless agencies. |
*Special District: Neighborhood
Revitalization Areas and target areas as specified
in the Pinellas County Consortium Consolidated Plan
or cooperating city jurisdictionally approved redevelopment
area.
