Project Overview
Pinellas County is working with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the City of Clearwater, and Forward Pinellas on the scope for a Corridor Study along SR 60 – the exact limits are being finalized, but it will generally be from the roundabout at Clearwater Beach to the east end of Rocky Point in Hillsborough County.
FDOT will be the lead agency for the study, which will include specific improvements at the SR 60/Belcher Road intersection at the level of detail required for a Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) study. The County’s allocated funding will continue to be used for the Belcher Road intersection. The other agencies will be responsible for the additional funding required for the rest of the corridor study and improvements.
Additional information will be added as it becomes available, and this webpage will eventually be replaced with the Corridor Study project
