Annexation Information Meeting
The City of Oldsmar has scheduled a referendum for March 10, 2009 in which the East Lake Woodlands community will vote to decide whether their community and nearby commercial and industrial properties will become part of the City of Oldsmar. The attached map identifies the area that is proposed for annexation by the City. Residents of East Lake Woodlands and business and property owners in the proposed annexation area are invited to attend an Annexation Information Meeting with representatives from Pinellas County government on Monday, February 16th, 7:00 p.m. in the East Lake High School Theater located at 1300 Silver Eagle Drive.
County representatives will be available to answer your questions to assist you in making an informed decision on the referendum. For your convenience, an information brochure and tax comparison worksheets have been created to help you calculate the impact of annexation on your taxes. They are located via the links below. A map of the proposed annexation area is also provided.
