Get Involved / Donate
Many caring pet-loving residents come to Animal Services to ask how they can help the animals we care for at the shelter. While our budget does allow us to provide the basics for the pets we care for, contributions help us go that extra mile to provide the high-level care these animals deserve. If you can,
here are three ways you can assist:
1. Donate to...Animal Welfare Trust Fund:
Through the Animal Welfare Trust Fund, our citizens are able to donate directly to the animals under our care. The donations are used for the extra medications, specialty food, and items for our cats and dogs that we might not otherwise be able to provide. Please make your check out the PCAS Animal Welfare Trust Fund. You may bring it to the shelter or mail to:

-
Cat Adoptions Rescue Partners
Since creating partnerships for cat adoption programs with over a dozen local pet stores, we now adopt out more cats than dogs. A portion of the donations from the pet stores participating in the Cat Adoption Program are utilized to fund the personnel and expenses to operate and expand the program and get more cats adopted. All donations received from the cat adoptions are placed in the Animal Welfare Trust Fund.
-
Pinellas Paws Cause Mural
Pinellas County Animal Services and Murals for Mutts have formed a partnership to raise money for the Animal Welfare Trust Fund.
For a $100 charge, a pet portrait will be painted on the wall and become a part of the mural, with $25 donated to the Animal Welfare Trust Fund. To participate in the Pinellas Paws Cause mural, email or call (727) 902-1671.
