Who do we serve?
The Veterans Services Division was created by the Board of County Commissioners to improve access to services for Pinellas County veterans and their dependents. We assist veterans, their widows, and their eligible dependents with a variety of needs.

What services are offered?
We offer guidance and assistance in filing, developing, and appealing claims pertaining to the full spectrum of veterans' benefits. We do not grant or deny claims. That authority rests with the federal agency that administers the program.

Services Include:

  • Assistance with developing claims and filing appeals to the Veterans Administration to procure rightful benefits;
  • Assistance in obtaining discharge papers, marriage, divorce, death, birth certificates, and medical records;
  • Guidance and assistance in upgrading military discharges.
