Watering Schedule & Restrictions

WATER SHORTAGE
The Southwest Florida Water Management District declared a Phase I Moderate Water Shortage effective December 1, 2010. Residents are encouraged to limit indoor water use, test irrigation systems, and follow the watering schedules shown below. View quick tips to save water and money.

Pinellas County drinking water - Lawn watering is permitted two days per week (same schedule as well, lake or pond water).
City water - Lawn watering has varying restrictions.
Well, lake, or pond water - Lawn watering is permitted two days a week.
Pinellas County reclaimed water - Lawn watering is permitted three days a week.

Watering established lawns and landscaping with an in-ground irrigation system is now authorized for TWO DAYS per week.
Your watering days depend on your house number:

Properties Less Than Two Acres	House Number	Water on
	Even	Thursday and/or Sunday
	Odd	Wednesday and/or Saturday
	Mixed or No Address	Tuesday and/or Friday
Properties Two Acres or Greater	All Addresses	Water on
Properties Two Acres or Greater	Half on Thursday and/or Sunday Half on Wednesday and/or Saturday

Watering hours (regardless of property size)
Morning: midnight to 10 a.m.	Evening: 4 p.m. to midnight
*Watering is prohibited in the day time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Your drinking water supplier may have additional restrictions or a different watering schedule.
If you are not sure who provides your water, please check your water bill or call Pinellas County Utilities Customer Service at (727) 464-4000.

If you live in one of the following cities and receive drinking water from that city, follow the city's restrictions (contact list).

- Belleair	- Pinellas Park
- Clearwater	- Safety Harbor
- Dunedin	- South Pasadena
- Gulfport	- St. Petersburg
- Oldsmar	- Tarpon Springs

If you live in one of the following cities and are a Pinellas County Utilities water customer, follow the Pinellas County restrictions:

- Belleair Beach	- Madeira Beach
- Belleair Bluffs	- North Redington Beach
- Belleair Shore	- Redington Beach
- Indian Rocks Beach	- Redington Shores
- Indian Shores	- Seminole
- Kenneth City	- St. Pete Beach
- Largo	- Treasure Island
