Does Your Castle STILL Need a New Throne?

By popular demand, the Ultra Low Flow Toilet (ULFT) program has returned. Since the original program started in August, 2001, the program successfully achieved 98% of the participation goal, saving approximately 2.5 million gallons of potable water per day. There have been 94,921 high-flow toilets replaced with low-flow models through June 30, 2008.

Retail and wholesale water customers are eligible for rebates of up to $100 for each toilet replaced.

The Southwest Florida Water Management District will continue joint funding at a 50% match of eligible program costs. The program’s extension will help further decrease Pinellas County’s already low per capita water use rate of 89 gallons per person per day.
