California Integrated Waste Management Board
The California Integrated Waste Management Board offers 50 lesson plans for grades K-6 that encourage students to "reduce, reuse, and recycle" with its Closing the Loop curriculum. The lessons are interdisciplinary and hands-on.
Can Manufacturers Institute
The Can Manufacturers Institute offers environmental curriculum with activities and experiments related to aluminum can recycling: The ABCs of Environmental Education for grades 4-6, Talkin’ Trash with ABCs for grades 6-9, and Cans: Infinitely Recyclable for high school.
PaperRecycles.org
The Paper Industry Association Council (PIAC) offers educational tools for teachers on paper recycling including videos, poster, worksheets, and classroom activity on making paper.
