We have some exciting contests underway!

Students in grades K-5 are challenged to design a t-shirt related to the theme: Pinellas on Tap. The contest is open to students in public, private, or home schools in Pinellas County. Middle School Students

• Students in grades 6-8 are challenged to design a t-shirt related to the theme: Green Is All You Need.
• The contest is open to students in public, private, or home schools in Pinellas County.
• Contest information has been sent to science and art middle school teachers in Pinellas County.
• Deadline for entries: Friday, March 26, 2010

 LARGO TRASHY FASHION SHOW  
Students or Adults

• The Trashy (Recycled) Fashion Show, hosted by the City of Largo, will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 7pm at Largo Cultural Center.
• Contestants design and model "trashy fashion" clothing made from at least 75% recycled items.

 RECYCLE REGATTA BOAT RACE  
3rd Grade Students - Adults

• Students in grades 3-12 are invited to participate.
• The 2010 Pinellas County Recycle Regatta is sponsored by Keep Pinellas Beautiful. 
• Build and race a recycled boat! Your boat must be constructed from at least 70% trash items such as plastic bottles, PVC pipe, or scrap wood.
• The event will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 8:30-1:30 at Spa Beach, St. Petersburg.
• Deadline for entries: Friday, March 26, 2010
