Effective November 5, 2016, north county reclaimed water irrigation is authorized on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays before 8 a.m. or after 4 p.m. The system will be shut down from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The system will also be shut down from 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays for storage level recovery. Customers may irrigate 2 days per week according to the schedule below. Please monitor this website for updates. For additional information, please view the News Release.

Watering hours (regardless of property size):

Morning: midnight to 10 a.m.

Evening: 4 p.m. to midnight

Rules include:

Water Ordinance
Reclaimed water unavailable in north county on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
New lawn or plant material only may be watered on all available days during authorized hours for the first 30 days after installation and three assigned days for the next 30 days thereafter. Installation of new material shall be reported to (727) 464-4000 and proof of new material should be faxed to (727) 464-3717.

Reduce fertilizer use when irrigating with reclaimed water

Fines for Reclaimed Water Noncompliance:

Notice of Violation issued for all observed violations of the reclaimed water ordinance.
More than three violations in a twelve month period may result in reclaimed service being terminated.
