Pinellas County, Fla.—Repairs to a 36-inch reclaimed water main will begin on Monday, December 1, 2008 resulting in a service interruption to north county reclaimed water customers. The necessary outage will affect almost 5,000 reclaimed customers for a period of eight days. Work is expected to be completed on December 9, 2008. Although this will present an inconvenience to customers, the repairs are critical to the system’s operation.

Customers choosing to irrigate with potable water during this period are reminded to adhere to watering restrictions established by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. These restrictions can be reviewed at www.pinellascounty.org/utilities or by calling Pinellas County Utilities Customer Service at 727-464-4000.
