Pinellas County Utilities expands its customer service hours during holiday rush. Customer Service representatives will be available to respond to customer calls from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on January 7-9 and 12-16, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10.

Tell your hot water to cool it! Turn the temperature on your water heater down to 120 degrees to save energy. Many manufacturers set the thermostats at 140 degrees, which wastes energy and poses a safety hazard for possible scalding. Recycle your Christmas tree into Yuletide mulch! If you have a “real” Christmas tree this year, please recycle it. The collected trees will be processed into mulch, which is offered free to the public.
