Services
The Financial Services Division directs and organizes
all Public Works programs related to financial and procurement
coordination, contract and agreements, invoicing and
payment control, records management, and office and
support services.
Construction
Management Division
The Construction Management Division handles all Construction
Inspection of Public Work Projects to include roadway,
drainage, retention ponds, parks and coastal projects.
Engineering
Division
The Engineering Division handles all the Design
of Engineering Projects for Public Work including
roadways, drainage, retention ponds, sidewalk
improvements, and civil engineering
consultant service.
Surface
Water Division
The Surface Water Division is responsible for
engineering the projects described in Pinellas
County's Stormwater Management Plan.
Civil
Site Division
The Civil Site Division is responsible for the preparation
of construction documents for numerous County projects
and the design of construction projects within the
County Park system.
Structures
Division
The Structures Division is responsible for the preparation
of construction documents for numerous County projects
and the design of structural construction projects.
Traffic
Division
The Traffic Division is a part of Engineering
Division and handles all Traffic Related issues,
traffic lights, traffic light timing, traffic
flow analyzes, intersection improvements, etc.
for Pinellas County
Transportation
Division
The Public Works Transportation Engineering Division
oversees and manages Public Works projects that increase
major roadway capacities, reduce roadway travel time
and improve pedestrian/bicyclist features.
Consultant
Coordination Group
The Consultant Coordination Group coordinates the
design of major arterial and collector roadways by
engineering consultant firms.
Operations Department
The Operations Department's primary functions are the maintenance
and operation of Pinellas County's road network, bridges,
drainage systems, stormwater permitting compliance,
mosquito control, vegetation management, public works
permitting services, utility coordination, street lighting
program, and traffic signs and signal systems.
Survey & Mapping
The Division of Survey and Mapping not only provides
survey data and accurate records for the public,
consultants, and other governmental agencies but
also prepares design and construction survey services
for County projects. |
