The Consultant Coordination Group coordinates the design of major arterial and collector roadways by engineering consultant firms. The group manages the projects through all the design phases and the right-of-way acquisition phase. The design phases include the preliminary engineering phase, the preliminary design phase and the final design phase. The group is responsible for assuring that the engineering consultants follow acceptable standards when developing the roadway, structural and drainage elements of the design.
