East Lake Tarpon Community Overlay
- On April 24, 2012 the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 12-13 establishing the East Lake Tarpon Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This Ordinance also established two Comprehensive Plan objectives and ten policies that define the distinct characteristics of East Lake and further the community's Vision for the future.
Ozona Community Overlay

On October 26, 2010 the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 10-58 establishing the Ozona Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This ordinance also established a Comprehensive Plan objective and policy that define the distinct characteristics of Ozona that have been identified by the community and recognized by the Board of County Commissioners.

Tierra Verde Community Overlay
Alderman Residential Rural Community Overlay
- On December 12, 2006 the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 06-89 establishing the Alderman Residential Rural Community Overlay within the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. This ordinance also established three Comprehensive Plan policies that support retention of the community's rural character and large-lot land use designation, which restricts density to one dwelling unit per two acres.
