Boca
Ciega Millennium Park
“When the observation tower was built,
we were excited. My husband Jerry used
to take his telescope and look at the
shorebirds at low tide. Jerry’s passed
away, but I still go to the park. I have
a lot of happy memories there. I like
the environmental education programs.
The more you know about something, the
more you appreciate it.” --Joanne

one wonderful way people can actually see
their Penny tax dollars at work. We need
centers like this to teach kids to be stewards

and bring a child, walk a trail or fish

Joe's
Creek Greenway Park
"I've lived most of my life in Lealman.
With the latest funding cycle of the Penny
for Pinellas, the Lealman community has
benefited in many ways. We've seen the beginnings
of the Joe's Creek Greenway Park. The Penny
helped replace an old dilapidated fire rescue
station. I would urge everyone to support
the Penny initiative." --Ron Kimball |

County residents safe and secure.”

Family Center
"The Lealman Family Center is one of
those sparkles a gold miner looks for. In
the midst of an average neighborhood, there
is this new and shiny spot to enrich their
lives. I have learned a new skill, made
friends and am now a part of helping...
that's worth more than gold to me."
