Serving the most densely populated county in Florida, the Pinellas County CTST garnered some impressive results in 2003. Their accomplishments include implementing 19 separate enforcement operations, posting 20 billboards promoting safe driving, and conducting a thorough analysis of high-crash intersections. Their tireless efforts were rewarded with double digit reductions in traffic fatalities, alcohol-related crashes, and alcohol-related injuries.
