Safford Pavilion
This Pavilion was built in Tarpon Springs around 1896 in the Cycadia Cemetery in memory of Anson P. K. Safford, former territorial governor of Arizona and an important early pioneer of Tarpon Springs. Sheltering upper County residents during storms and funerals, the Pavilion was originally located east of Highway 19 in the old Cycadia Cemetery. The Pavilion was donated to Heritage Village by the City of Tarpon Springs.
