Pop into History – Enter-Action History Fun!:
Orientation and maps are provided for this self-guided program that lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
School for A Day
This program offers teachers two options: create a historic lesson plan using resources provided by Heritage Village or bring your lesson for a day to Heritage Village. School For A Day is held in a 1940s classroom with historic furnishings and chalkboard.
Please call (727) 582-2125 for reservations.
Self-guided tours at Heritage Village are teacher-led. Teachers are encouraged to visit Heritage Village before bringing students on a field trip. Background information about Heritage Village and its structures is provided through resource materials available on our website. These visits require at least one adult chaperone per 15 students.
To ensure a positive group experience, we require groups to pre-register. This allows us to avoid overcrowding and potential conflicts with other programs at Heritage Village.
