Welcome to the County’s Lake Tarpon webpage.  This page will feature upcoming projects on the lake as well as valuable information for residents in the watershed and users of the lake.

9/10/07 - The Area 6 stormwater project, after a slight delay, is in the 90% design phase. Permits have been applied for and the final design is expected by the end of the year. The Areas 23 and 63 projects are in the preliminary (30%) design phase.

12/14/06 -The Lake Tarpon Area 6 stormwater project is in the 90% design phase.  Construction is scheduled to start in mid 2007.  Meanwhile the Area 23 and 63 projects will be starting design in the first quarter of 2007.
