Mitigation Projects

Many County projects impact wetland areas during construction. Through permitting, the County commits to reconstructing wetlands similar in size and composition to the impact site. The Environmental Support Services Section is instrumental in the proper design and construction of these sites. The Section also monitors select sites and submits reports to the proper permitting agencies.
