Pollution Prevention and  Resource Recovery (P2R2)

The Pollution Prevention and Resource Recovery (P2R2) Program is a unique, non-regulatory program that assists citizens and businesses to reduce their use of hazardous and toxic materials. These materials are resources that cost money, both in their initial purchase
and in the costs related to liability and governmental regulation.

The P2R2 program focuses on the educational approach to environmental management. The concept is simple - prevent wastes before they are created. Pollution prevention promotes economic vitality and growth for a healthy community and business environment.
