Air Quality Division
The Division is responsible for protecting and enhancing the air quality throughout Pinellas County. This is accomplished on a local level through air quality monitoring, source permitting/compliance reviews, and planning, as well as on a regional level through cooperative efforts between various regulatory/planning agencies and groups. |

Coastal Management Section
The Section coordinates coastal enhancement projects including beach nourishment, channel dredging, beach vegetation promotion, sea turtle nesting monitoring/lighting, and nearshore artificial reef creation.
