Radio and Data Systems
The Radio and Data Systems Division of the Pinellas County Public Safety Services Department has the responsibility of planning, operating and maintaining wireless communications systems for Pinellas County and for the county-wide 800 MHz trunked radio system that provides communications for virtually all public safety agencies in the county, and many other government agencies. The Radio and Data Systems Division coordinates interoperability for special events and with other agencies throughout the Tampa Bay Region.
